One question that regularly crops up is: "What is the difference between Swarovski and Swarovski Elements?" We're here to put your mind at rest and answer that question.

Swarovski was founded in 1895 by Daniel Swarovski, who's aim was to create a "diamond for everyone" using a state-of-the-art electric machine invented by himself in order to cut crystals more accurately. Over the years, the Swarovski brand has grown bigger and bigger, delivering fashionable jewellery to women all over the world at affordable prices.

Swarovski use their own range of specialist Swarovski crystals; man-made gemstones produced through the machine invented by Daniel Swarovski back in the 1800's. As well as designing and crafting their own jewellery, Swarovski also distribute loose Swarovski crystals to companies within the fashion and jewellery industries. This is where the term 'Swarovski Elements' comes in.

Swarovski Elements is the brand name used when loose Swarovski crystals have been bought and featured in products created by other companies. The term "Made with Swarovski Elements" tells you that the product you are buying, although it hasn't been designed or distributed by Swarovski themselves, does in fact feature genuine Swarovski crystals that have been bought in loose form from Swarovski.

So there you have it, we hope we've cleared a few things up for you. We regularly update our blogs and social media pages so if you have any more burning questions, let us know and we'll endeavor to answer these for you!
