About Pandora Jewellery

Since its box of luxury jewellery was first opened back in 1982, Pandora has become a worldwide phenomenon. Although best known for its customised charm bracelets, Pandora offers a range of complementary jewellery lines that make for ideal gifts and personal pieces to treasure.

The journey of Pandora began in 1982 when goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and his wife established a jeweller's shop in modest surroundings on Nørrebrogade in Copenhagen, Denmark. Little did they know that this humble jewellery shop would evolve into the Pandora known and loved around the world today.

Husband and wife often travelled to Thailand in search of jewellery for importing, and as demand for their wares increased, the company focus shifted to the wholesale business. In 1987, after several highly successful years, the company discontinued its retail activities and moved to larger premises. Winnie and Per were inspired to open their own factory in Thailand as a means of ensuring, among other things, control of their own jewellery designs. The company began to focus on creating the unique jewellery brand that would become Pandora, hiring designers that played a key role in defining Pandora's style.

1999 saw the launch of Pandora's ever-popular charm bracelet on the Danish market. Consumers quickly embraced the concept that made putting together a bracelet a personal process unique to each user, and Pandora grew with the increase in demand.

Pandora jewellery is currently sold in 18 countries and, with head offices in Copenhagen and its factory Pandora Productions based in Thailand, a lot has changed since Pandora's early beginnings as a two-man business 25 years ago. With Pandora's reputation only growing in stature, the future looks bright as Pandora's box continues to unleash a seemingly never-ending array of exquisite jewellery and fanciful charms upon the world.

Pandora Jewellery

Pandora jewellery offers an unparalleled selection of beads and charms to collect and attach to necklets, anklets, earrings and - of course - the famous Pandora charm bracelet.

So much choice reveals the universal concept at the heart of the Pandora brand - whatever your style, whatever your taste, whatever special occasion or relationship you are celebrating, there is a Pandora bead to suit.

Take your first step into the world of Pandora by choosing the piece of jewellery that starts it all, from which the beads marking life's unforgettable moments can hang. The different types of jewellery and beads are arranged above to ensure simple and easy browsing, so you can start your Pandora collection without fuss.

Once you've chosen a bracelet, necklet or anklet, it's time to choose and attach the beads that mean most to you. Choose from a range of gold, silver, glass and wooden beads, a number of which are set with real gemstones such as sapphire, rubies and - every gal's favourite - diamonds.

A recent addition to the Pandora jewellery line is Lovepods, a collection made up entirely of 18k gold and gemstones. The Lovepods collection also features a number of 'stackable' rings that combine to create unique looks.

Whether given as a gift or purchased as a personal treat, Pandora beads are the ideal way to signify one's individual identity via a piece of jewellery. Spell out your name with Pandora Alphabet beads or make sure no-one forgets what month you were born with a Zodiac or Birth Stone bead.

As well as signifying personal information and tastes, Pandora jewellery beads are also a fun way to celebrate the passing of time and mark special occasions. Browse the ‘Seasonal' section above to find a range of beads that suit specific dates in the yearly calendar: get in the Christmas spirit with cute angel and snowman beads or prepare for Valentines with a selection of loved-up heart designs.

Whatever combination you choose, the story of your piece of Pandora jewellery will be unique to you. Pandora jewellery reflects the values of hope and opportunity that motivate us all, but the secrets of your chosen beads will be yours and yours alone.

The Jewel Hut is established by T. H. Baker, one of the UK's largest and most respected independent jewellers with 11 high street stores nationwide. T. H. Baker has been an established retailer of quality jewellery since 1888.

The established, ongoing relationship between Pandora and the Jewel Hut / T. H. Baker is a mark of quality on both sides, with Pandora entrusting its widely-loved treasures to one of the most enduring and trusted names in the UK jewellery industry.

Pandora Concept Stores

As well as being authorised to sell Pandora jewellery online at the Jewel Hut, T. H. Baker sells Pandora jewellery in its retail outlets across the country.

T. H. Baker's ongoing relationship with Pandora has led to the development of two specialist Pandora concept stores that have recently opened in the Midlands. The T. H. Baker store in Brierley Hill's Merry Hill shopping centre features some of the bestselling jewellery pieces from the Pandora range, while a new store in Birmingham's famous Bullring shopping complex is specifically devoted to Pandora jewellery.
